VR61 chair is defined by mirrored symmetry and a lucid sculptural gesture, where a moulded plywood shell rises from a central base with remarkable clarity and balance. Though rigorous in geometry, the chair retains a softness in silhouette and posture that reflects Richter’s human-centred modernism. Its restrained form combines structural precision with an unexpectedly light and elegant presence.
Vjenceslav Richter worked across architecture, art and design — treating them as one continuous field. As part of EXAT 51 and New Tendencies, he helped shape a culture of experimentation that connected Zagreb to an international network of ideas.
Richter+ is a collaborative platform that brought together the design studios Numen/For Use, Neisako and Grupa to develop the Richter Collection in partnership with Prostoria's in-house R&D team.
