VR61 easy chair reinterprets Richter’s original concept through a more relaxed and enveloping posture. While preserving the mirrored symmetry and sculptural clarity of the original shell, the seating angle opens and the proportions expand to create a softer and more inhabitable form. Beneath its visual lightness, a re-engineered structure and refined upholstery provide contemporary comfort while maintaining the purity of the silhouette.
Vjenceslav Richter worked across architecture, art and design — treating them as one continuous field. As part of EXAT 51 and New Tendencies, he helped shape a culture of experimentation that connected Zagreb to an international network of ideas.
Richter+ is a collaborative platform that brought together the design studios Numen/For Use, Neisako and Grupa to develop the Richter Collection in partnership with Prostoria's in-house R&D team.
