During Days of Oris 2026, held from 8–10 May in Zagreb, Revisiting Richter became part of several inspiring days filled with conversations, lectures, exhibitions, and encounters with the architectural and design community.

Presented at Oris House of Architecture, the exhibition brought the project closer to the cultural and intellectual context from which it emerged, reconnecting the legacy of Vjenceslav Richter with contemporary approaches to design and everyday

Designed by Numen/ForUse, the exhibition introduced the Richter Collection through a spatial narrative that explored the dialogue between Richter’s experimental vision and its contemporary reinterpretation. Throughout the festival, the exhibition became a place of exchange - gathering architects, designers, students, partners, and visitors interested in the relationship between modernist heritage and contemporary design culture.

One of the key moments of the programme was the lecture by Maroje Mrduljaš at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, where he explored Richter’s interdisciplinary practice and reflected on how his ideas continue to inspire contemporary architecture and design. During the programme, pieces from the Richter Collection were displayed throughout the venue, allowing visitors to experience them within an active architectural setting.

As part of Prostoria’s long-standing collaboration with Days of Oris and its support of the Oris Award, the VR52 Chair was presented to Vedran Mimica, recipient of this year’s Oris Award for Outstanding Contribution to Architecture.

For Prostoria, the Zagreb edition of Revisiting Richter once again confirmed the importance of activating cultural heritage - approaching it not as a static reference, but as a living source of knowledge that can be continuously reinterpreted, tested, and brought into contemporary use.
