The Greenhouse Bistro at the Kortrijk Xpo in Belgium, designed by BuroB in 2017, is an example of how thoughtful design can transform a space into a vibrant and functional hub.
Dominating the interior is Prostoria’s Strain barstool, whose intertwining steel tube design and ergonomic solid wood seat create a visually dynamic and comfortable seating solution, perfectly suited for the bustling atmosphere of the bistro. Complementing the barstools are Prostoria’s Polygon easy chairs and low tables, which add a touch of modernist elegance with their geometric forms and lightweight construction.
The Polygon pieces, with their interplay of triangular shapes that shift into complex polygons from different perspectives, enhance the contemporary aesthetic of the space while offering practical comfort. Together, these elements embody a love for craft and design, making The Greenhouse Bistro not just a place to relax but a showcase of innovative furniture in harmony with its architectural surroundings.
