Built into the moonlike landscape of Pag Island overlooking the Adriatic, KAI House is shaped by its relationship with the land and the expansive views beyond. Conceived as an extension of its surroundings rather than an object placed upon them, the residence embraces the island's stark beauty through carefully framed vistas, natural materials, and a restrained architectural language.

Within this calm and light-filled interior, Prostoria furniture contributes to an atmosphere of effortless living. Two Fade sofa beds define the living room, where their softened geometry and continuous surfaces echo the fluidity of the architecture. Designed to transform from sofa to bed, Fade allows the home to adapt naturally to changing rhythms of everyday life.

For a house intended to bring together family and friends throughout the year, it offers the flexibility to comfortably accommodate overnight guests without compromising the quality of rest. Combining the sleeping comfort of a premium bed with the sculptural clarity of a contemporary sofa, Fade makes hospitality an integral part of the living space. In the dining area, Bik chairs bring warmth and understated elegance through their archetypal form, wood craftsmanship, and refined proportions, creating a welcoming setting for long meals and shared conversations.

The home's connection to its surroundings extends beyond the architecture. A 400-year-old olive tree anchors the garden, while the ancient olive groves of Lun-home to some of Croatia's oldest olive trees, many estimated to be over 2,000 years old-are just ten minutes away. This remarkable landscape, shaped by stone, sea, and centuries of cultivation, reinforces the home's strong sense of place and its dialogue with the island's enduring natural and cultural heritage.
