At Allora restaurant in Split, the clean lines of Prostoria’s Bik chairs and bar chairs sit comfortably within the richly textured interior by Studio Zarez. Their simple oak frames anad subtly forward-leaning backrests bring a distinctive character to the seating around the tables and circular bar.

Designed by Numen / For Use for bistros and public interiors, Bik naturally accommodates the changing rhythms of the day, from morning brunch to celebrations that last late into the night.

Studio Zarez approaches the restaurant as a living room for the city, bringing domestic warmth to a lofty, glazed shell. Oak and walnut, shelves filled with ceramics and an antique shop counter give the space a collected quality. Upholstered seating, textured plaster and arched niches soften the architecture, while a more intimate gallery overlooks the social bustle below. The result is a relaxed, contemporary interior whose character comes from the interplay of material, proportion and familiar objects.
